# Mullbinde

*Was ist eine Mullbinde? Definition, Arten & Einsatz*

Eine Mullbinde ist ein elastisches oder unelastisches Verbandsmaterial aus locker gewebter Baumwolle oder Mischgewebe. Sie dient zur Fixierung von Wundauflagen, zur Kompression bei Verstauchungen und als Stützverband. In Österreich ist die Mullbinde Pflichtbestandteil jedes Verbandskastens nach ÖNORM Z 1020:2025.
